Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology has solid Indirect Purchasing country organizations, team Finland being one of them. We are in the middle of interesting times and developing new way of working in our indirect purchasing world. Are you interested?

Indirect Purchasing team Finland is an active part of a decentralized organization in which we play an integral role as a category driven, efficient and a resilient purchasing organization. At the moment Indirect Purchasing is implementing a new purchase to pay tool and therefore we are looking for an active and analytical Sourcing Specialist. The role is permanent and located in Tampere.

Your responsibilities
As Sourcing Specialist, you are a key player during the P2P roll-out period and in local internal customer support. After the roll-out period you will act as the local operative purchaser for Indirect Purchasing. The role includes also investment related sourcing activities at Tampere site as well as some sourcing related supportive tasks. You ensure the fulfillment of purchasing policies and processes, as well as compliance with ethical standards, relevant laws and regulations.

Your skills and qualifications
You have a suitable educational background (e.g. Bachelor in Sourcing, Marketing, Supply Chain, Business or Engineering) in a relevant field and some practical experience. Good knowledge of systems and tools for purchasing and sourcing is required. Your oral and written communication skills in Finnish and English are excellent. Your previous experience in procurement and purchasing is regarded as a benefit.

You need to have team spirit and enthusiasm with an analytical mindset and a passion for reaching the business' goals. You have good stakeholder management capabilities and you create and maintain good relations with both internal and external stakeholders.
