Our company is an ISO 9001:2008/14001:2004-certified actor with more than ten years of experience in operating in close cooperation with large-scale nuclear and construction sites, the Olkiluoto 3 nuclear power plant site being the largest of them. We are currently looking for Completion Steel and Metal Works Supervisor for our client in Olkiluoto Nuclear Power Plant, Finland. We are offering challenging work in an international project environment. Main tasks and responsibilities: - Manage, coordinate and supervise the works of the suppliers of following trades: Steel works and associated tasks, as well as Metal Works - Ensure that the activities, as well as those of the subcontractors are performed according to the highest HSE standards - Ensure that the works on site and are performed according to the contractual standards of quality, time schedule and budget, and according to Project Procedures including but not limited to work follow up documentation requirements - Tracking and cleaning up the list of open points related to these works - Attending and minuting weekly meetings with the involved subcontractors - Report directly to the Finishing and Room Completion Group Manager - Report weekly progress to the Finishing and Room Completion Group Manager - Provide Room Completion Manager with all necessary information on progress and problems - Undertake any other duties from time to time as instructed by the Finishing and Room Completion Group Manager Requirements: - Civil Engineer or equivalent with adequate experience of Civil and Finishing works supervision on large construction projects - Engineering and coordination background - University Degree in Civil and/or Steel structure Engineering, or Architecture - Potential experience on OL3 for faster integration - Good software knowledge on MS Office and ANP database Skills required: - Experience in the construction supervision, especially steel structures and metal works - Good technical knowledge of civil and finishing trades including but not limited to steel works, metal works, painting, and other related trades - Organisational and planning ability - Good interface and relationship, as well as assertiveness - Ability to communicate with people of different professional background and culture - Result-oriented in particular with respect to Safety, Cost and Schedule (On Time Delivery - OTD) Language skills: - Fluency in English (spoken and written) Drug test and concise security clearance will be done for the selected person in order to get the permanent access to OL3 site.
